our history
Front Light Building Co., the master homebuilders behind Lanthorne Homes, was established in 2014 in Beaufort, South Carolina. Its main purpose was to find a better, simpler way to build homes. You see, with more than 70 years of combined experience, we knew the process of building a home had become needlessly difficult — and we’d seen that the overall quality of the homes being built was deteriorating.
To that end, we developed a new approach to buildings homes, one that makes the journey to a new home more efficient, less stressful and ultimately quicker. Our team, guided by the values of hospitality and quality, is dedicated to helping you craft the space where your life’s best moments can unfold.
